Privacy Policy

What Ozedia collects, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed.

Last updated October 24, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Ozedia ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit ozedia.com, join the early access list, or use the Ozedia app at app.ozedia.com (together, the "Services").

Ozedia is a social media scheduler with an inbox and analytics. You connect your own social accounts, write and schedule posts, answer comments and messages, and see how your accounts perform. We are opening early access in small groups, so some features depend on each social platform's own approval.

We keep this policy short and specific. If something we do is not described here, we will update the policy first.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Services:

  • Early access list: your email address and the role you choose (for example creator, small business or agency).
  • Your Ozedia account: your name, your email address, and your password (stored only as a protected hash by our sign-in provider; we cannot read it).
  • Brands: the names and colours you give to the businesses or clients you manage.
  • Connected social accounts: when you connect an account on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook or Threads, we receive the account's ID, name, handle and picture, the list of Facebook Pages you choose to share, and the access and refresh tokens the platform issues. Tokens are encrypted before they are stored.
  • Your posts: the text, links, images and videos you upload to publish, the time you schedule them for, and, for each account, the result (published, failed or waiting), any error message the platform returned, and the link to the published post.
  • Messages to us: emails you send to us and our replies.
  • Technical information: sign-in and security logs kept by our hosting, such as IP address, browser type and the time of each request, used to run and protect the Services.

We also keep a copy of what we read from your connected accounts, so you can search it and see it over time: a copy of comments, mentions and direct messages (so you can search them, mark them read and add private notes), and once a day each account's numbers (followers, views and similar) and the latest numbers of its recent posts (for charts, exports and best posting times). A reply you type is sent to the platform; if the platform lists it back in a conversation, it becomes part of that stored copy. These copies are deleted when you remove the account or its brand, or close your account.

Your photo and video library, saved captions, hashtag lists, saved replies and calendar notes are kept until you delete them or their brand.

3. Data we receive from social platforms

When you connect an account, Ozedia asks the platform for the permissions needed to schedule posts, read comments and messages, and show numbers, and no more. What we can do differs by platform (see the Channels page). We:

  • use the data only to provide the features you asked for, inside your own workspace;
  • never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never use it to build profiles of people or to decide on credit, jobs or insurance;
  • never show one brand's data in another brand, or one person's data to another person;
  • follow each platform's own rules for developers, including the Meta Platform Terms, the TikTok, LinkedIn and X developer terms, and delete data when a platform tells us to.

You can disconnect an account in Ozedia at any time, which deletes its stored tokens, and you can revoke Ozedia's access from the platform's own settings. If you remove Ozedia from your Facebook, Instagram or Threads settings, the platform notifies us and we delete the stored access for that account.

4. How we use information

  • To run the Services: sign you in, publish your posts at the time you set, show your inbox and analytics, and keep each brand's data apart.
  • To manage early access: send a confirmation email and tell you when your place is ready.
  • To keep the Services safe: detect abuse, find and fix faults, and protect accounts.
  • To contact you about your account, security or changes to the Services.
  • To meet legal duties and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Artificial intelligence

Ozedia does not currently use artificial intelligence to write, change or reply to your content, and we do not train AI models on your content or on data from your social accounts. Nothing is posted or sent unless you wrote it and chose to schedule or send it.

If we add an AI feature in the future, it will be optional, we will say so in this policy before it is switched on, and we will not use your content to train public models without your permission.

6. Who we share information with

We share information only with:

  • The social platforms you connect, when you ask us to publish, reply or read data for you.
  • Service providers that run the Services for us and may use the data only for that purpose: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Hostinger (website and app hosting), and Brevo (the early access list and the emails we send).
  • Authorities or advisers, where the law requires it or where it is needed to protect the rights, safety or property of Ozedia, our users or others.
  • A buyer or partner, if Ozedia is involved in a merger or sale. We will tell you before your information is covered by a different policy.
  • Anyone else, only with your consent.

7. Security

Connections to ozedia.com and app.ozedia.com use HTTPS. Access tokens for your social accounts are encrypted before they are saved. Every request to read or change a brand's accounts and posts is checked on our server, so it can only be reached by the person who owns that brand. Our sign-in provider stores passwords only as protected hashes.

No system is perfectly secure. Please use a strong, unique password, and tell us at hello@ozedia.com if you think someone else has accessed your account. You can read more on the Security page.

8. How long we keep information

  • Connected account tokens: until you disconnect the account, delete its brand, or the platform tells us access was removed.
  • Posts, uploaded media and results: until you delete the post or its brand, or ask us to close your account.
  • Stored copies of comments, messages and daily numbers: until you remove the account or its brand, or close your account.
  • Early access list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
  • Security and server logs: kept for a short period set by our hosting, then deleted.
  • Backups: our providers may keep backups for a limited time before they are overwritten.

When you close your account we delete or anonymise your information within a reasonable time, except where we must keep some for legal, tax, security or dispute reasons.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to your data protection authority.

  • Delete a post, an account or a brand yourself in the app. Deleting a brand removes its accounts, posts and uploaded files.
  • To close your account, or to see, correct or export your information, email hello@ozedia.com from the address you signed up with.
  • To leave the early access list, use the unsubscribe link in our email or write to us.
  • To remove everything connected to a Facebook, Instagram or Threads account, follow the steps on the Delete your data page.

We will reply within the time the law requires, and we may need to confirm who you are first.

10. Cookies and storage in your browser

The app sets a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to complete a connection, and it saves a few settings in your browser. The marketing website sets none. The Cookie Policy lists each one.

11. Where information is processed

Ozedia and its providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in, which may have different data protection laws. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

12. Children

The Services are for people aged 16 or over, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we make a material change we will change the date at the top and, where appropriate, tell you by email or in the app.

14. Contact us

Questions or requests about this policy or your information? Email hello@ozedia.com. The controller of your information is Ozedia.
